the thing about CS:S is the mods (Gun game/Zombie Mod/Maps,etc). CS:S lives by this ability, ontop of possibly being the best multiplayer shooter in the market.
if they found a way to incorporate such mods on the PS3, then we could see CS:S on the platform at some point then.

not happening. its a lot of money to buy valve. especially when they own Steam, a Money Maker.
difference is, this game focus' is on the multiplayer aspect of the game.

i know this is the beginning, but they are slow when it comes to delivering. hopefully this will speed up the process
