UBISOFT and EA are not skipping kinect. They are simply trying to find a way to implement core games on the damn thing, and they are thinking hard on how to do it. In this case though, for these sets of games, they failed to do that.
instead they are bringing casual shovelware games (or family games) for it. games that can work with the system, like dance/ excercise /sports games on rails. does that remind you of anything from years ago, you know that camera from the PS2 ...
thats good to know. just make sure you give us a menu screen that takes a long time to select. cause that was stupid.
and hurry up with Grid 2.
GT5/Dirt/Grid is all i need for race sims this gen.
its only accurate for dance games that uses gestures (or pre-canned animations like what Cellypower said) to detect the kind of dance move you are doing, which then in turn matches the move that the player is ordered to do on screen.
Dance Masters does the same thing as well.
not unless you're runningat 60fps you wont. Kinect runs at 30fps. because of this, there is latenency, aka lag.
try a 30fps webcam, and see for yourself what i mean.

start at 3:00 mark.
and this was a demo 6 years ago. when sony was trying to make camera tech viable for gaming.
and a...
uh oh... cant wait for the spins....
wow. they're going all out on this one. hopefully the driving isnt so sluggish like Dirt 2.
LOL oh gawd:
"Dirt 3 will thus appear for PC, Xbox 360 and PS 3rd"
I see what you did there google...
anyway, im glad that companies are taking advantage of the Youtube Upload feature. people want to be able to show off their experiences. this is good.
the kid in with the lined shirt looks like one too.
this could work out well for kinect. more people out there with ideas for the device. lets see if they can put them to good use.
multiple discs= more royalty fees to Microsoft.
not every dev has the money to pull that off...
hasnt this been obvious already?
i thought people have already realized that....
based on what was shown and said, it only tracks 1 person. the other people can join in if they want, but wont be tracked.
the other 2 people that were shown playing with the player who is being tracked in front, is just for show.
the game will most likely end up being a 1 or 2 player game.
dance masters is the same thing as well.

that question is easy to answer, especially if the person went to Macy's to try the laggy POS out...
the problem is, there is no in-depth gameplay when it comes to kinect. just lag.
"Why the hell is every one disagreeing with what my daughter wants? Hell I am thinking of buying move for my slef."
i think it has to do with the fact that you put Kinect and Move on the same sentence, especially when Kinect looks like it doesnt work at its current state. but hey, its your money...
yea, i expect people to come out of there very dissapointed with the fight.
Gestures are the reason why people dont like motion controls. they want 1:1 motion tracking. this game doesnt do that.
i think its because its a table tennis game that works.
"you guys keep bringing up the old gt sales back when there was more then 100 million ps2's sold obivously sales will be big."
uh, GT3 sold more than 10 million 2 years after release. and this was during the PS2's young age, not when sales hit 100 million.
probably... by the way things are going, probably...
well, they are

theres more of those where it came from. and there will be more of these in the future.
bottom line: Quit defending Kinect. the lag on that thing is immense and its not viable for gamers at this point.
those that buy this are going to learn the hard way.
MGS is just too epic for just 10. there were too many awesome moments in that franchise.
