I agree with you completely. I for one have had my interest turned off by the spoilers, it's just far too disappointing and "try hard" from Naughty Dog. As for those saying gameplay will be great, I don't see how since halfway through the pacing completely changes!

If they come out with the reveal it would be perceived as a reactionary event more than anything. It's a good move to wait until the Xbox's reveal hype has died out and then make the grand reveal, preferably close to E3 so that the buzz would be big!
