Discless consoles have a fairly dim future, the PSP GO had a horrible life due to being digital only and some mismanagement by Sony...ok alot of mismanagement by Sony. But in the case of the Xbox One way larger games and patches + the initial backlash from walking that path before I think Microsoft would be foolish to walk that path again.

Indeed they haven't been clear about that but I'll attempt to explain. PSABR supports Cross-Play where you can invite a friend to play with you on a Vita if you're on PS3 and vice versa but as you can't be your own friend you can't invite yourself (assuming that the Vita and PS3 are on the same account). You'll need to create/use a second account on the PS3 console and add the Vita account as a friend if you want to play between them.
Bought Starhawk this month and it has a hefty 2.5 gig install guy. The install thing isn't as common as it once was but believe me it's still there.

*The original Marvel vs Capcom 3 had Shuma Gorath and Jill locked on disc (albeit Jill missing an audio line or two)
*Within a year of releasing said Marvel vs Capcom 3 released Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 which still didnt come with Jill and Shuma unlocked.
*Released Resident Evil The Mercenaries on 3ds as a full price release when it was just a port of the Mercenaries mode on PS...
Fans requested the character and Capcom delivered.

Gene from God Hand was in very close consideration for UMvC3's roster. They had more characters in the final pool than they could put in the game, and Gene happened to be in that category. Mega Man was in the final pool of characters too.

About Shao Kahn , I was skeptical fighting game bosses nowadays are garbage (just look at Galactus in MvC3 compared to Onslaught) but Shao Kahn...he is plain broken, moves do double damage, unnatural stun, not being able to flinch him 80% of the time (sometimes this dude just WALKS out of combos like rain).He is broken as hell but as in every MK game there is something spammable that can kill him in about 20 minutes....and the SSF4 Seth...but thats another story

All the crying over an alpha and exclusive content? On the Sony side of things after over a decade of exclusive games that gave Insomniac Games their name they run off and make a subpar multiplatform game and an EXCLUSIVE game for the competition, be thankful Destiny is at very least multiplatform.
