Well. That depend on the developers. If whether they want to focus on gameplay or graphics or both together. But that's right. At first of each generation a lots of games focus on graphics to say the game they have more special. But more power means better gameplay too.

If changes happened then there should be a good reasons. Being weak and unexperience have been explained before it's even released. But this is not about lara character or a story. It's about sending a message. This is a huge change that came from no where and it's only there because of personal goals.
You just explained why it's stupid comparing a pc to a console in tech side. Fanboys are ignorants. Consoles are used for reasons. People choose easy using and exclusives instead of full controle of the hardware(That lead to facing complicated problems). Remove these reasons and you will see people try to learn the pc.
I for one can handle the pc problems. But i prefer consoles because of the exclusives. If pc had the ps3 exclusives i would throw the ps3 in the garbage lol. True. But they already made sections for them and the updates brought some new things for them. He didn't say gameplay isn't important. It's you people who assumed that. His talk doesn't necessary be about realistic graphics. He also talk about the story. Developers need to evolve and make the story more emotional and more interesting. Most of the games have shallow story so most of them are all about the gameplay.
