NATIVE 4k is perfectly doable, at over 100fps in EVERY GAME!! All you need is GTX 1080 TI SLI
i grew up with the c64, followed by the amiga. i couldn't afford a snes at the time but always wanted one. luckily we can all play the snes now, i'm discovering so many lovely games. it probably is the best console imo
rrod made me switch to playstation. best choice ever imo
driveclub still destroying current gen graphics in 2017.
it will run lovely on pc, ps4 pro has a lot of frame drops in places, as shown in the digital foundry review

the tech is fine, i'm on about the design/art direction/lighting... it looks bland/sterile. maybe they'll sort it out, i hope so

save your money, and build/buy a gtx 1080 ti rig. 4k at 60fps is the future
1080 is nice, but the gtx 1080 ti is one sexy piece of tech, 4k at 60fps all day
sony will dominate as per usual
native 4k at 30fps (hopefully locked) and alpha effects reduced, possibly inferior shadows too. there will be compromise!
would be nice if switch was a little cheaper than the other consoles
