alright, just so u know, the ps store doesnt have much to do with the firmware, the page is just php/html/javascript or w/e u used to be able to go to it through ur computer but now they blocked it to where only the ps3 browser can, all the ps store icon is a link to the ps store page and it removes some of the web browser functions for faster searching
i noticed that the store is significantly faster which is good, now it doesnt take time to load the page when before it took like .5 seconds

u sir are a dumbass... lets say 3 ppl sold their ps3 one for $587.06 another for $587.07 and another for $587.08 so when u average it out wat do u get? who knows maybe only 10 ppl sold their ps3 or maybe even jsut 3
EDIT: if u think they sold a lot of ps3 your an idiot, its basic supply and demand, if they had like 100 ps3 on ebay u wouldnt expect anything above $500, if u had 3 guys selling em... who knows how high it would go
