Indeed, this really does piss me off. I planed to buy it day one but not anymore.
The big deal is if the code can only used once. What if my brother wants to play the online part with his account? Do we have to buy another copy of the game just to play online? If yes, this is really STUPID.
Because they couldn't fit all the contents into the DVDs. So they cut the game into two parts.

As for the homebrew if you use it to patch games, it's still illegal. you can't alter/modify the games without authorization from the owners.
But it's another story if you import games and play them as they are without any modification.
I'm not saying you should do it or not. I'm just saying it's still wrong if you are against laws breaking.

If he has homebrew, he could just download them off the internet. But since he wanted to import them, this implied that he wants to obtain the games legally. If he doesn't support piracy, then I don't think he has homebrew.
