Sony just made it optional for us, if you want cross game chat and other features go buy it, if you don't you want cross game chat, you still have free online gaming free ingame chat, free demos and all access to PSN store.

unlike XBL where they forcing you charging you $50 to play online.

too bad on XBL you still have pay for play online. that suck for x360 only owners.

i played all splinter cell games on my PC, the game is good but its gets boring and repetitive after a while, and story is ZZZZZZZZZ, main charecter is very very dull.

and splinter cell conviction that i saw from the gameplay videos is nothing new to the old sp games.
