I agree with electricity gun. Ultra badass and too shortlived. I want it. I want it now. Also bolt gun is great, even works at long range.
The game i wanted to play to keep me entertained until Street Fight IV comes out, is relased 24 hours before Street Fighter IV is mine??

It seems at the moment Microsoft are resting on there laurels and Sony are grabbing the bull by the horns in terms of big hitters this year. Who knows though, Microsoft may shock us with some announcements that could be interesting, but at the moment i'm much more interested in what Sony are doing.

Whoever posted this article needed to put a question mark in the title. A lot of people will just read the title and not the article and think its saying hype WILL ruin Killzone 2, rather than will it ruin Killzone 2.
The article is basically saying too much expectation might ruin your overall perception of the game, though it shouldn't since its a great game in its own right.
I'm still gonna get this game since it looks awesome, but it seems kinda weird that u cant run and gun. Metal Gear Solid 4 u cud, Gears u can, why cant u here?

I think its ok if they continue the storyline and bring something fresh to the series, but when you start bringing out a completely different genre to the series or constant expansions and just stick "halo" on it, well then its starting to get milked
Oh my, its like, Killzone 2 NEEDS to be perfect in every single attribute and be flawless, then they can consider giving it a 9.
I know the fps genre is constantly be used and maybe can do with with innovation, but how can you complain so much if the games does what all others do better than any else ever.
Bioshock, no mulitiplayer, no problem. COD4, no co-op, no problem. Halo 3, no innovation, no problem. Killzone 2, not the second coming, 2 points off

And yet they've cleary taken points off Killzone 2 for lack of co-op. Oh what a double standard industry we have

I'm sorry but cod4 didn't have any co-op and i cant remember the last fps that did innovate the series, but halo3 and cod4 were both highly regarded anyway, and from the sounds of it, Killzone 2 does most things better then them. I think that they the hype got the better of this reviewer as his expectations were clear...
Have all of you failed to realise that the force unleashed is on this list?? That alone makes this list a fail. Too many old generation games that weren't classics and too many absentees. Would like to see a more current gen website do list of top games
Also they seem to forgetting, how many ppl bought a PS3 already to play Killzone 2? I would hazard a guess many ppl have already bought their PS3 because of Killzone 2 and other exclusive titles, instead of waiting for titles to be released
I think Killzone 2 will sell great, probably will be the biggest selling exclusive come end of the year. Will it push loads of PS3's? Think it will do as well as MGS4, slightly better, but not on a massive scale.
A price drop would do this, but i don't really care since i already have a PS3 and Killzone 2 pre ordered.
And lets be honest, if it wasn't for the football captions, how many of you would believe this would be a trailer for the superbowl and not a made up hiphopgamer story...hmmm. I think its time to start taking this guy seriously.
Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. They all sold faster then Killzone 2 on the PS3. But does it really matter. It still sold well and i'm not sure if these figures are acuurate and it depends what areas it covers. I'm going back to Killzone 2 online
