It has a "new" engine(Frostbite 2) which is technically just an updated code version of Frostbite 1.5 which was an updated code version of Frostbite 1.
It added the 3 to the end of battlefield so I guess thats something more it changed.

I liked the BF2 campaign.
As I am sure I will like BF3's campaign.
But...I have very low expectations for anything really "new" or "fresh" in the overall game play for either BF3 or MW3.
Multiplayer==
MW3=Run, aim, shoot. OR Camp, aim, snipe.

I don't care if Skyrim comes on 2 disks or 50, just as long as it plays off of one disk.
Knowing Bethesda... I still believe it is going to be on one disk, and it is going to be awesome.
I love FPSs, especially the Call of Duty series, Battlefield series, and Halo series. I have even given Killzone a shake or two.
But...lately I have been feeling like I have been playing the same game over and over.
The COD series has been awesome, but you can't help but see that you have been playing the same damn game with new bells and the same dame whistle.

I read the entire article and I really don't find any problem with the context of the main point.
Yes, the "so-called" experts quoted in the article are pretty much blowing smoke out of their asses.
But, the main purpose of the article was to warn parents about the content of this game.

I can very well afford it, but I like things like Cross game chat. The fact that all the rest of my friends online and off have it. Plus I don't like Japanese games on the whole. There have been only 4 or 5 PS3 games that I have wanted to play. All the rest I love to play has been either a cross platform or on the 360. I have had the Xbox for 3 years now and I figure I have payed about $3 a month for 3 years for everything. Good deal in my opinion.
