Not to be "that guy", but haven't we heard this before when the Company Apple introduced iTunes? We'll see. It is a far stretch, but it is definitely possible.
Uhhh... GDDR5 ram outperforms Xbox's 4 to 1 in speed. Not sure that this information is liable...
Honestly, it all depends on the gamer. Generally, console gamers don't care about the resolution as much as a PC game does.
For me personally, I prefer higher resolution games because I play on a 50" TV. Running a 720p game on anything higher than a 36" you're going to notice a huge difference.
Just my two cents.
Maybe they have the light on, so they it shows you that the controller is on... I feel your battery argument is invalid because it uses BARELY any power... If anything, it shortens the battery life by 20 seconds... It's not worth the time or money to hire programmers, for hours, to create an option on the PS4 to turn it off the light. Because then, they have to spend a butt load of money to press it as an update.
@NightmareLuffy, Do you realize how much power the LED light actually uses? Not to mention how small the module actually is? There's a reason why LED lights are now so much popular.. They BARELY take up ANY power, but broadcast a bright light. I do soldering all the time, and I took a look at the PS4s... Turning it off won't make a difference...
@nukeitall, you seem to forget that retailers are the ones who bought a HUGE majority of the Xbox Ones. I could go to any walmart, meijer, best buy, etc. and find Xbox Ones in stock. PS4 were completely sold out. Also, these numbers are in-correct since there are TONS of other "News" articles (not opinion ones) that states that Sony out sold Xbox in the US every month.
But hey, believe whatever you want. The numbers are there clear as day. Do your research.
I'm unsure if people realize how SMALL an LED light is, and how VERY LITTLE power it actually uses... IF Sony did release a firmware update to turn it off, it's maybe going to expand the life of the controller by 0.01%...
Man, I don't know what's wrong with me as a gamer.. But... I actually really enjoyed Assassins Creed and Dead Island. If you were to play them now, of course they are going to act bad since these games are old and there's no longer any support.
Yeah, this game is amazing at Lan parties.
Killing Floor 2... CAN'T WAIT!
Sony sold almost 5 million game consoles with 90% of them having PS+. That's a WIN WIN right there. As I recall, Microsoft had a much less percent of people who have xbox live.
Microsoft Fanboy: "Lets just take random numbers and lets make it look they are going to go bankrupt in two years.."
From the inventors of Blue ray players, PS+, Playstaiton, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THEY WILL GO UNDER? Really? Give me a break.
Destiny zod18 ;)
If you check PS4's Ram, it's GDDR5.. Which is at a MUCH higher speed and can out perform DDR3 3 to 1. GDDR5 is new technology and is the best thing out there ATM. I don't think it will be ram that will be the bottleneck for the PS4. Not trying to defend, but this is coming from a PC gamer.
@Hercules, I believe they need to look at EVERYTHING before they press charges or do anything. They shouldn't have arrested him.. But what in ones mind thinks it OK to say you be doing that to kids. REGARDLESS of joking..
Arrest? No. Evaluation maybe someone check up on him and make sure he's not crazy? Maybe. Rather than them jumping the gun, maybe they should get the NSA and review the whole chat history with that user. Just saying..
Mixed feelings about this article. What IF this was to REALLY happen and no one did anything to stop it. Who's fault would that be? You shouldn't be talking about crap like that. But in the same sense... Why is there a trial when the guy said "jk" in his comment? I think if anything, they should just evaluate him.. *Shrugs*
Thoughts? I'm completely open to hear your thoughts.
Amen to that SilentNegotiator!
It's the parents responsibility to say NO to their child if they want an M rated game.
Is it me, or does it seem like Pachter is REALLY dissing Sony's PS Now? This is literally the 9th article I've seen with him saying something negative towards PS4.
