GameVideoVault - I run linux and I don't want to install a crap browser like internet explorer just to look at your sh*t videos.. get with the program - we don't all want to run IE..
Ill informed article in that it doesn't have a new firmware chip, just a new firmware version but otherwise it's ok..
Is it just me or does this look almost word for word like the interview 1UP published about a week ago?

No official source anywhere has come out and said that Wheels won't have feedback. As far as I'm aware SONY is the ones with the lawsuit with Immersion.. Logitech don't have a problem and Logitech are the ones making the wheels for 360 and PS3.. So if your biggest remaining complaint is no 3d flag marshalls.. well boo hoo.. I'm sure that will just RUIN the experience of driving 220MPH with 22 cars on some of the greatest race tracks on the planet..
C...
Rest assured there are other aussies on here :-)
Can something be sad but brilliant at the same time? :-)
It starts off by saying "rumours are that a highly anticipated PS3 game WILL make its way to Xbox360". Then it says "sources say they are 99.99% certain the game WON'T appear on Xbox360"..
So which is it?
Read the article then..
IGN says compared to the 360 version load times are faster (almost halved), draw distances are longer, textures are improved..
Great news for the PS3 fans and good to see a developer putting the effort in to port a game and actually utilise the features of the platform they're porting to rather than doing a half arsed job..
Looking forward to more companies putting extra effort in like this..
Sony's controller doesn't have feedback (because of their lawsuit with immersion) but as far as I'm aware they've never said third party controllers/wheels can't have it.. Nor have they ruled out adding it to the sixaxis in the future...
From a development point of view there may not be anything in the Sony development kit to allow developer's to cause rumble in the sixaxis but I'd imagine that the libraries to interact with a wheel are probably built by its manufacturer so I'...
The only reason flash wasn't working for them is because they weren't willing to go down the "standard" (for linux) path of downloading the source and compiling it for your platform.. In this case Power PC.. People already have various Power PC versions of linus running on their PS3's and there's plenty of source that can be compiled for that chip..
Now there's a BORING game....
I know plenty of people who'll be keen to pick this one up - they just happen to come from countries that play cricket!
They're the same people who don't comment "that'll be boring" when EA releases a new baseball game. We didn't grow up with it but we're happy for you guys to enjoy it and its "World" Series *giggle*..
"In addition to video playback, Impress was also able to sample the PS3's music features. The system can rip CDs to MP3, AAC and ATRAC3 formats, allowing for bit rates of up to 352 kbps. The PS3 is also capable of going online to read into the AMG music database in order to get track information."
I wonder if the dev's will let us use our MP3 collections in game for background music..? (Not a fanboy war question - can 360 rip MP3's or does their 'change your in game ...
Bottom right hand corner looks to be a setup screen for 5.1 surround... (and before any fanboy jumps up and down about Sony touting 7.1 and this only being 5.1 - I DON'T CARE!)..
Nice to know we'll be able to hear the cars fly by on all sides..
Not every game has to use the tilt functionality just because it's in the controller.
I'm sure there's a few 360 games that don't use both the joysticks or maybe aren't using all the buttons but we don't have people crying foul about them not using parts of the 360 controller.
If the tilt functionality suits the game and serves a purpose, I'm sure the developers will use it.
Thanks for the link Kingboy.. BTW if you go to QJ.net, click on one of the pics, the click the little blue 'full screen' icon below the image you'll get much larger jpgs than the ones you've attached to the article..
Not quite as impressive as the original images they released but I guess it is work in progress..
Look forward to seeing it moving in the future!
I didn't realise the case was going to be see-through like it is.. weird effect
Oh well I'm sure someone will say its not a problem because only audiophiles want true lossless audio and they won't be using a 360 for their music..
(And if you believe that I've got a coat hanger shaped bridge in Sydney to sell you.. )
"GN : Does the Xbox 360 have the internal bandwidth between CPUs and graphics processors necessary to move a full 1080p image? There's a big difference between 1080i and the 3GB/s of 1080p.
Microsoft: No Comment."
I wonder why they would avoid this question? I guess 720p games upscaled to 1080p is a lot easier to do than actually calculating and rendering true 1080p.
That said, the article is true in saying the 1080p support is crippled...
Good to hear about the variety of enemies, backgrounds etc.. Sounds like it's going to be SO much more than the bridge demo released previously. (He even comments that the bridge level demo is smaller than the one in the game which is amazing!)
I like the sound of the city levels too including fire bombing runs over one of them... :-) Certainly a nice change from FPS.
