There is lots of reasons why the PS3 may end up as the leading platform. One is the blu-ray disc capacity and the DVD format doesn't cut it anymore. Two both third party and first party game developers are starting to master the PS3's cell architecture. Three the development kits for PS3 are finally at affordable and reasonable prices unlike before which were expensive as hell................

Well the point here that many people forget is that the PS3 Linux prohibited users from using the cell architecture. If Sony was worried about hackers why they even bother to allow Linux in the first place. It is a feature that consumers paid for; part of those $600.00+tax went into Linux and even Sony was touting this feature as one of the best features the PS3 had. Lack of PS2 game comparability is something that Sony should bring back. Removing the Other OS was retarded. PSN Network is just as good as xbox live but is the browser that feels pretty outdated. Microsoft removed the ability to play xbox 1 games online and gamers didn't have a problem with that. Playstation Move wait and see approach on it. That's my two cents.
You hit the nail in the head when it comes to businesses or school what do we use Windows. That's the major problem with Linux is only used for the geeks and nerds and home users but when you go to school and take computer classes you use windows. You go to the computer lab and you will use Windows.
