I just finished the game this weekend and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I thought the last 2 hours kind of dragged on too long but it is what it is. I would rate it aruond a 7/10. What it needs is customizable armor, a large variety of weapons, and more fighting animations a la Batman games. I would easily recommend this to an XBone user.
I finished Ryse this weekend. It was a great ride. Battle system is simple yet works well. There need to be more battle animations like there are in the Batman games. That's my only complaint. Oh, and it would be nice to get upgraded weapons and armor.

I'm judging it because Knack is "The Infallible" Mark Cerny's baby. He designed the game. Obviously he's not the genius everyone pegs him to be. I'm getting a PS4 at launch and an XBone. I've had them both preordered since the day they went on sale. I'm not getting any PS4 games because not a single one interests me.
One word, "Knack". Cerny's new game is shite.

I own a Shield and it's a very nice piece of hardware. PC Streaming is awesome.
I have a good/bad feeling this reversal will mean Xbox One will be easier to hack. If it constantly had to check in, it would be much easier to bust people with hacked consoles. Interesting.
I remember when Assassins Creed was first shown and was supposed to be showing off the power of the PS3 but it was actually running on an Xbox 360. These are Dev Kits people, geeeeezus. Fanboys have very short memories. I also remember the PS Vita reveal and they said it was built and designed for and by developers, just like PS4. We all see how that's working out.
Be sure to update your nvidia drivers. I'm running a 670 on Windows 8 and was having framerate issues in several games. Installed the new drivers, issue resolved.

Hmmmm, I remember when Sony announced the PS3 with full backwards compatibility with ps1 and ps2 games, we all see how that turned out. It's called a bait and switch and Sony are masters of this technique

I also remember when Sony said that controllers with rumble were last gen. I also remember why they said that, they didn't want to pay for the technology because they were in the middle of a lawsuit with the company that has the patent on rumble. Now who has the patent on parallax barrier 3d screens? Thats who Sony doesn't want to pay so they say 3d isn't good on handhelds

I have PS4 and XBone. Unless I'm missing something, PS4 does NOT auto-update, it only auto-downloads. Every update I've received still has to be installed, just like the PS3. If this XBone update allows for all future updates to auto-update instead of just auto-download, that would be very nice indeed.
