Revealing @ E3 is a stupid idea. Sony would have to do a reveal of the PS4, talk about all the features, show games and tech demos, talk about PS3, upcoming games for the PS3, talk PS Vita, PS Vita games, psn updates etc...then all that plus data of sales to satisfy shareholders. All within at most 3 hours (Sony had been doing it @ 2 hours). PS Meeting was about 2 hour. Too much to say/do in too little time.

This is going to be troubling for GPU boosts. Especially Nvidia. Same thing has happened to Guild Wars 2 where they offload to the CPU and killing the max performance of the GPUs (Nvidia), thus creating jumping frame-rates 30-60+.
The idea is that being DX11 or 10 capable means absolutely nothing. If there isn't enough processing power, it's still not what we would want to use for high end gaming computing.
What steam just show is that many users are using gpus from integrated gpus to midrange vs high ends. That's where the most profit is made for AMD/Nvidia/intel. The average users dont buy high end gpus. In fact, intel HD 4000 is DX11 capable.

no. fifa is still a little behind. they've improved it, but still lacking some features. Sure, you get full hd 60fps but it still isnt as good as the hd console versions.

For those thinking PSN+ is $60/year, it's not. It's $50. Just to clear that out. It's actually directed at j4re, but some people may have misunderstood that as well.
Being a subscriber, you do get free things though, such as avatars, themes, certain DLCs that are permanent.
Well, according to Crytek, we'll be getting SMAA T2x this gen. And according to the pdf, it's one of the best AA techniques available. So we'll have to wait and see. Next gen, it may be Nvidia's TXAA vs SMAA 4x or T2x. I don't think we'll be seeing MSAA 8x on consoles, ever.

So, Sony created a new studio, and that turned out to be Superbot Entertainment. Interesting. I've always that they were an independent start up developers. I guess now, Sony will have a team dedicated for All Stars and future iterations of the series.
I would like Rogue Galaxy 2. Ending deserved a sequel.
They should all drop fxaa, and implement smaa. SMAA is better, less blur, better subpixel AA. Just a little more taxing than fxaa.
A gtx 560 ti is actually a lot closer to a HD6950. Even the price range is. Currently, it's at $250.
Edit: That's actually the price for a superclocked version. But, you get the idea.

point I'm trying to make is, it does cost well over $1000 to run something like this @ 1080p 60 fps. And people still claim to run new games at 1080p60fps with their older rigs.

It's not even exclusive. It has been on android for awhile now. Plus, tegra 3 is so outdated. I guess we'll be seeing yearly revisions of the ouya, if not then maybe every couple of years.
