Yeah, I agree with both of you. This is just getting ridiculous now. If it releases in 2011, that will be 5 years since launch of PS3. At the rate they are going with their game development, FFXIV will probably release with PS4.
On another note, this FFXIII delay will probably affect Versus' release date as well. I'm hoping not but its hard to say now. SE is going downhill fast, which is a shame.

Everything you said was spot on. Personally, I don't care what haters say about this game because I know that I'll have a blast with it along with the other ps3 owners who will be buying this game. Bottomline is haters will always exist, be it in cars or sports related. If you ever read comments in ESPN yhen you'll find out how its the "N4G of sports", not as bad but you get the point.

Yeah, me too. After trying out all the controls, I was comfortable with "Standard 1" than the others. I had a hard time zooming with the L1 when I'm holding L2 for cover.

Same old Edge. I don't really take anything of their review seriously anymore since I figured out a while back that we don't share the same opinions about games. That's what reviews are, "Opinions" of another person. They have their own and I have mine, and mine always wins. That's a fact.

That kind of logic made the PS2 the best selling console of all time. Just give it up with these "Doom and gloom" articles because they hold no weight whatsover. File this one with the rest of those garbage.

Exactly. That's why I'm not really bothered with the "Sony is Doomed" articles anymore. We've been through those before and looked how the PS2 turned out. Some of these people expected the PS3 to sell 100 million units in three years or else it fails. Its really hilarious if you really think about it. Sony said that its a marathon and not a sprint. Its funny because reviewers seems to not mention that they review PS3 differently because its on a much more powerful console. You know what else is funny? All those nit-pickers always mention Gears of War2 and Halo 3 in their articles to compare KZ2 with. They just can't review it for what it is. Is it because of this "Higher Standards" that you mentioned? Don't make me laugh. That statement of yours is just as BS as this article.
You can add the fact that GG never said anything about "Coop" in the game and yet it seems that reviewers targeted that as a major flaw.
Well, all I can say is once a reviewer reviews a game with a particular title in my mind to compare it to, then his/her reviewing system is flawed and should not be taken into account.
Like I said in my earlier post, reviewers should review a game for what it is, not for what its not.
I bought a launch PS2 and I kept reading countless articles about "PS2 will be SONY'S demise" or "Sony was just a one-hit wonder with the PS1" etc. I was 19 at the time and after reading those, I was beginning to believe those articles and thinking that I might have made a mistake forking out $400 for it. But I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. Its just sad that I had to retire my PS2 back in Nov 2006 when I bought my launch 60 gb PS3 since it has BC. :)
Perfect or not, I know I'll be enjoying this game come Feb. 27. That's all that matters, my opinion about it and not what other say. Reviewers can nit-pick all they want, they ain't changing my mind :)
Well, I dont't really worry about the scores because that's not what I look at when I read reviews. I look at the context and decide if I agree/disagree with the author. Make up your own minds. I'm pretty sure almost eveyone here knows what kind of games they prefer. Read previews of a game that you are watching out for and decide for yourself. If you're still unsure then there's always a demo or you can rent it first.

Agreed. I kinda had mixed feelings when Uncharted 2 was announced. Don't get me wrong, I was excited about it but at the same, that's kinda an indication that the earliest we'll get a next gen Jak is next year. Hopefully Sony will announce it in this year's E3 but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, just make Uncharted 2 kick the first ones arse, ND. You'll be forgiven XD

I might have to rent SF4 now. I mean I could purchase it but I'm afraid it'll just collect dust when KZ2 comes out and I would regret spending my $60 for it. Damnit Capcom, they should've released it last January when there were no big titles around. Oh well, great score for a great game :)
