Could not agree more with the author on choice of #1. Final Fantasy VII may be the most popular, but for me FFVI is definitely the best I've played.
My list personally would be this:
#1 FFVI
#2 FFVIII
#3 FFIX
#4 FFVII
#5 FFX
#6 FFIV
#7 FFII
#8 FFI
#9 FFIII
(Haven't played FFV so couldn't possibly make a judgement).
I really hope it hits one million sales, because it deserves to. The biggest mistake the team made was releasing it near the likes of CoD, Assassins Creed, GT5 and more - had they released March-May time this year, I reckon it would have done so much better.
Seriously, didn't read the manuals? They're trying to get him off because he didn't read the manuals!? Ignorance is no defence of the law, by using Sony's hardware you're automatically pertaining to their Ts&Cs surely?
If games like Uncharted and Killzone could be made without the Cell processor, why aren't we seeing games of equal graphic quality on other platforms then?
Just remember that download is 12GB, would take me AGES to download.
I'm sure devs would love to use the final builds when creating demos for the game, but the time it takes for a game to go through testing with Sony and Microsoft means that if they want to get a demo out in good time, they have to use an older build of the game.
....and what a surprise, SCEE have said that they're not participating. FFS when will the EU finally catch-up with the USA? I'm fed up with the Americans getting loads of these rewards and weekly PS+ updates when us Europeans are left looking like idiots - sort it out Sony.
(No offence to any Americans on here btw)
Patching can give developers a chance to give the game a new lease of life, but I don't think they should abuse the system by patching bugs after release - some people may not be able to access the patch after all due to lack of internet connection or whatever.
Media Molecule (with LittleBigPlanet 2) delayed their game for that reason, there are problems that need to be fixed and they don't want to have to patch it as some may miss out, simple.
Would it? Look how disappointing FFXIII turned out to be - after Squenix said about haing to cut a load of content from the game ... hmmm.... I wonder.
Sorry guys, but has anyone heard of PlayTV? The guy who wrote this article obviously didn't as that's been out for several years now.
Ok I don't understand how this works - the US gets PS Move, PS Eye, Sports Champions and a Demo Disc in their bundle?? For around the same price as the EU bundle?
Come on SCEE, where's my Sports Champions? It's a bit like selling the Wii without Wii Sports.... kinda...
Agreed. When this comes out, it'll be four extra platinum trophies for me.
Why not just buy the original version and then sell it when GOTY comes out? That's what I did with Fallout 3, ended up spending $60 total.
Ya know, sometimes I wish that developers would spread these releases throughout the year, but at the same time having all the good stuff come out in October/November time is something to look forward to.
This was one PS3 game that I bought on a whim, and the ending really surprised me with how good it was, it wrapped up the game perfectly and this song just tops it all off.
Yup, that's correct.
Subscriber Number is found somewhere on the packaging of one of your delivered OPM mags.
The Order Number can be found in the email that the PS Store sends you whenever you buy something, just bring that up (for your 90 day subscription) and you'll find the number in the email.
Hope this helps.
Fair enough about it being late :), but as we are only a small team at PlayStation Future, we only have time to review a few games a month.
Sometimes a review will come in late, but just because there were so many other games to play and review at the time doesn't mean that this one should be missed off of the pile.
I hope you can see why we still publish reviews even several months after release - although from now on we'll try to market them as ...
Can someone tell me where the french actors were in Heavy Rain? In some of the bonus features you can clearly tell that most of them are English, and if you look most of the cast up you'll see that they're also English, sure there are a few French actors in there, but I thought the voice-acting was great in this game.
SO basically.... Activision is offering to let you pay for something that has always been free, and no doubt will continue to be free in other online games.
Wow! You can connect with your friends!? What!? You can monitor your friends' progress!? You've always been able to do that, and for no cost, whatsoever.
Don't buy into their crap folks, Activision are just money-grabbing imbeciles who aren't happy with the billions of dollars they get fro...
