That's a bit harsh to base your hatred of the entire game on the ending.
It's a brilliant game all the way up to there and this DLC looks to only continue that.
It is a ridiculously good title, not just for the Tomb Raider franchise but for games in general.
The developers deserve every ounce of success they get, as it's a brilliant game and one of the most refined in terms of gameplay mechanics that I've played in years.
Playing as Lara Croft is also just as good, if not better than playing as Nathan Drake or some other highly publicised male protagonist (coming from a male gamer).
Tomb Ra...
Great review. Totally hits all the problems I have with the game.
Cool rating system by the way.
It hasn't even sold 650,000? Really?
That seems pretty low for all the marketing and critical acclaim it's gotten.
We already knew this...
Yeah it seems that way.
Maybe they're ashamed? Ha ha.
I think the only Gears of War I liked was the first one and that's because it seemed to do a lot of things different. The other two were pretty... meh.
Hopefully this one turns it around a bit.
While I'm not a huge fan of the Gears of War franchise, this game looks like it may just change my mind.
Hm...
Hm... not surprised.
While the game is fun, it certainly lacks in many aspects. Story issues, glitches and odd design decisions all add up in the end. Problems the first two games were devoid of.
Nice to see so many awesome games for such low prices.
Thanks for putting up the list.
Well I'm pretty sure someone who's played the game and reviewed it would know the details better than any of us who haven't.
Trailers are completely different from what actually playing the game would be like.
Nice and detailed review. I wasn't that keen on any of the preview or review footage I've seen but I don't know... maybe it's actually worth a look at.
Considering playing on Normal and Stealthing the majority of the game isn't run and gun on Easy... yeah he kind of explained that.
I'm pretty undecided on picking up the game myself but getting to see the entire Dev Team Edition is really cool.
The artwork has been very nicely done.
This sounds just like everything I hoped it would be. Buying this when it gets to Australia... after the delay anyway.
And I'm pretty sure that everybody wanted to play out the Gecko scene when Raiden was first revealed in MGS4.
Now they can! Great job Platinum Games.
Yes because I've totally never read a full review before. I just look at the pretty numbers and spend all my money on games that only get 10's!
Yes I know that. It's just been getting pretty good scores across the board so that's why it's interesting.
10/10? Damn. This made me sit up and pay attention to the title again.
Hitman 2 and Hitman Bloody Money are the stand-outs of the entire series. The purchase is almost justifiable based on Blood Money alone but then again if you only wanted that it's on 360 I believe.
All sweet games. All you have to play! They're a lot better than Absolution and I actually liked Absolution.
@Nimblest-Assassin
A jump scare is still a scare. It still takes a lot of skill to get the player in a situation where they would jump too; you can't get a jump scare with lame tactics.
Wow, awesome review. I think this is the first God of War I've legitimately been interested in, well done good sir.
Might have to pick this up sometime.
