Bioware NEVER said "Its going to be the exact same game but different" So complaining that is "not dragon age" is dumb, sure its not the same, and there is parts about it i am bummed about... i.e. not making MY character, but at the same time, you now have a voice, Mass Effect would be dumb without Shepard, the game is Shepard.
How was it disappointing? because it was more violent? or you had to pause half as much? after all it was a DEMO.
I wont deny Halo having assisted the FPS craze, but saying that it started it wouldn't be right. That wouldn't be doing Half-Life and DOOM and Wolfenstein and Golden Eye any justice, those games changed the FPS Genre and kicked it off. Halo just came in at the right time when online console gaming was at its birth.

Guild Wars 2 looks amazing. I do wonder how Graphically advanced it will be though. GW1 and all sequels looked really good. I would assume they could only do better..

Their really isn't a justifiable reason to complain about game cost rising $10 in this gen. To me, it makes sense why Sony and Microsoft charge the royalty. Every year they support crappy F list games that don't ever have a hope to break even.
