I completely agree with you that this could also be a consequence of declining quality of reviews, but at the same time, I don't think that justifies the action of the petition. Like many have said in this comment section, there's just as many poor quality reviews that gave the games high scores, but nobody complains about that, because they don't go against the opinion of the masses.
Yeah it's like the scrolling stages, but more of an emphasis on who reaches the top first. It's great fun!

I honestly think it could be my favourite Nintendo device yet given that enough games are released for it in the future - and I also do use it docked fairly regularly too.
