I haven't seen this much hatred since the release of the Wii, Microsoft might have a winner here.
Also don't forget Sony isn't pulling in the kind of sales that the Wii is pulling in. Call it gay, call it childish but you also have to call it market leader :)
Listen, these days no games are hardcore. Back in the days of Pac-Man, Centipede, Galaxian and yes even Super Mario, you could spend an hour playing those games and guess what happened when you lost your last life? I won't lie, I haven't bought a Wii game for over 2 months, but then again the PS3 games I've picked up over that time have been pretty painful so since I enjoyed the other FPS I played on the Wii, this is definitely on the top of my list. Relax guys, it will sell fine.
When will this crap ever end? Guess it's Wii bashing time of the month again. I suppose I should be use to these type of articles by now. Aren't all video game systems fads? They all eventually go away, some faster than others. I own a PS3 and a Wii and they equally collect as much dust when the real world comes a calling.
@AceLuby, Come on now, if you don't already know the Wii is just a gaming console then you're probably a casual gamer and playing games is the only thing you want to do anyways. While I will admit I like the fact that I can use my PS3 for videos, music and pictures, no one else in the family can figure out how to do it. It's much easier for my wife to pop a music CD into the DVD player than to fool around with the PS3.
@CaptChaos, What did you think you were buying your daughter? Something to wear? Last I checked videos games were toys. My kids are downstairs right now fighting over the Wii controllers just like they fight over any of the other toys that they play with.
Didn't know Sony implemented a similar Rain Check program that Nintendo did with the Wii. I guess you could call this a NEXT GEN, Rain Check!! Those Sony guys always has to one up the competition.

I agree with you Vizion26, I own both the Wii and the PS3 and they get along just fine. In fact since the PS3 doesn't charge it's controller when it's powered off (at least I can't make it work) I use my Wii to Charge the PS3 Controllers. In my house both console get the same amount of playing time. Don't forget great games like Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Mario Galaxy and soon to add Smash Brothers to the growing list of non casual games.
I rented this game along with Assassins Creed for the PS3, After the first night I found myself strangely drawn to this game. I must have played Assassins Creed maybe 1.5 hours for the week I had it and spent all my other time trying to finish this game.
When a developer finally puts some serious effort into a FPS on the Wii it's going to be awesome. IMHO.
Didn't they say they're making something like 1.8 million a month? I don't know about you but if I'm the boss at Nintendo, and everyone in the industry keeps saying how PS3 will catch up in a few years, Wii is just a fad.. I would sell all the dam Wii's I could while the getting is good! Why take the risk that the PS3 might just catch fire? If Nintendo could make and sell 5 million a month don't you think they would?
1 year later the Wii is still selling like hotcakes and the haters all want to try and justify why people are still lining up. Come on, what company in their right mind would have the competition up against the ropes and then turn around and say, lets piss off some of our customers and let them buy our competitors products and at the same time we'll just secretly keep the Wii's in our secret hide out waiting until...wait for it... wait for it... we think nobody is interested anymore and then ...
