For me personally, I think Xenogears is better than the PS1 FFs. Everything about it was great from the story, the battle system, the intercut anime at times, everything. If it weren't so horrendously cut & edited it probably would have been 10x better than it turned out. There's a difference between the frustration this game causes VS the frustration from a game like CoD. Dark Souls is tough so once you get the hang of what to do it feels WAY more rewarding and gives a sense of accomplishment, whereas shooting your 100,000th enemy.... doesn't. Killing something 20X your size that's wielding a giant sword or lopping off a Hydras multiple heads is a bit more entertaining than killing/getting killed by someone using a sniper rifle like a pistol.
Its 50/50 on the subject. Its developers fault for not out-doing themselves in terms of what's expected, and its our fault for always giving them a chance, again and again.
Only time I really had trouble was when tou secure Al-Bashir after he crashes & then protect him & your squadmate in the mall. The rest of the game wasn't too complicated. You just gotta know how to pace yourself. I tried getting all the story achievements in 1 go on hard but missed only 2 since the difficulty made it impossible to do them (the one for getting thru Comrades in 2:30 without dying & the Going Hunting one.)

Depending on your internet speed, it should just be a few hours. I downloaded the 14GB portion at 12am & it finished just around 3am Wednesday morning (and that's pretty fast considering I have the worst internet provider on the east coast, Optimum). Just start it, go do something else for a while (in my case, I passed out & just randomly woke up and noticed it was finished) and it shouldn't be too bad. Late night (lowest internet traffic) is probably the best time to do it.
Once I started playing when it went F2P I was hooked & my only questions were "How do I get the items attached to mail?" (Become a premium member or higher, and so I did by buying the Green Lantern DLC) and if trophies would unlock for premium members.
I do some searches and most links led me to believe that, yes, premium members WOULD unlock them. Even the PS Blog post said you could.......until you scroll down and read some responses from the DC team to questions pre...

If places like Gamestop were there for consumers AND the industry, they would take the sales of used games (at whatever price they have set, NO MATTER WHAT) and split it in a fair way,like 40/60. If a game priced at,say $45 used, then GS keeps about $12-$16 and the rest goes back to the dev/publishers. That would be the only logical and fair way to do business for the INDUSTRY and not the MONEY (bottom line).

Yeah, that was it! I guess the Hazard part made me think atomic for some reason. That game was a blast to play & if a port is coming I have TONS of music ready for it.
What I want is a PS3 game like what the 360 has (made by an indie dev, don't know who) but it uses the music on your HDD & creates a dynamic level based on the music playing.
