Insomniac is already an independent developer . If Ted wants to create a multiplatform title, he can do it right now.

Gran Turismo 5 already uses these techniques to some extents. This is why it looks too good to be true.
PD performs partial ray tracing in pit-stop and replay to achieve CG- quality. And this is why it runs 30 fps in those sections. And PS3 has not passed the first year of it's life-cycle yet.
it should tell you something. Motorstorm 2 and Resistance 2 will also sport some crazy things(Insomniac already announced that all their future games will be in 60 fps )....
That's why I dont want games to be too long. I just get bored if they are too long.

As the engine was based on PS3 ( then ported to 360 ) , games from this engine will look sweet on PS3.
Unlike Xbox and Nintendo ,the Playstation doesnt depend on a single mascot or two. It has loads of them. TO some it's Snake ,to some it's ratchet , to some it's jak and i can name many more. but you get the perspective . dont you ?

I was really interested to buy this game for my PS3. But when I heard that valve isn't even making it i knew that this game will suck on PS3. I always liked valve. But the approach they are taking with PS3 is going to HURT them. It pains me to say this. But I can already see this game getting rated lowest in PS3. And this time , when all devs are at the top of their game with PS3 development, valve is going to get seriously verbally abused for their ignorance.
