Well I have had 3 or 4 360's on and off mostly because I end up selling them at some point, and buying one again when a game I want to play comes out.
Still have my 40gig fat PS3 I bought pre-owned 2 years back though. Mostly because I use it as a media hub and I love the PSN games. Don't really like a single PS3 exclusive strangely enough.

Somethings value is completely objective to each person, If a kid has 4 of this best friends on xbox live the the 360 is of better value to him as his entertainment.
If alot of the kids friends are on the PS3 then surely the PS3 would hold more value.

Actually I pirate games for 1 sole reason easy access, I have never in my life pirated a game available on steam. Simply because steam is an easy place to get the content I want without having to mess around trying to find it.
Alot of the games I pirate have either stopped being printed in shops so I have to buy them pre-owned from someone. Or totally ain't available in my area.
