Wish this would have gotten more hype during the E3 buzz. Can't wait for this game!

That's what the Internet is for. (I don't agree with Halo 4 being game of the year though...)
I think the biggest thing is that it's new/original. This years E3 was full of reboots and sequals: god of war:ascension, gears:judgement, acIII, halo4, tomb raider, need for speed, borderlands 2, and some others that I'm probably missing. Don't get me wrong, I'll buy some of those day one and the others eventually. It's just nice to see new ideas like Watch Dogs, Last of Us, Star Wars 1313 etc.
I know it's been mentioned but it's my concern as well: the new perk trees are great but if I don't have any skill points available they do me no good. Either way I'm really looking forward to it! :)

This seems a bit dramatic to me... Say what you will about the DLC but I doubt that means Rocksteady is washed up. I think they're one of the most exciting developers out there and I look forward to what the future holds for them.
Yeah agreed... Hopefully we'll get to glide around Gotham busting heads one of these days. :)

Achievements are hardly what's killing the industry. They're a pointless pat on the back. It's not like you have to get "achievement such-and-such" to beat the game. If you don't like them, don't worry about getting them. It's that simple. Lol

I hated the transformers movies, but it was based on more than just toys. Remember the old tv series? It actually had its own lore and universe to build on.
These movies based on Hasbro board games (rock'em sock'em robots[real steel], battleship) are utter garbage. If you don't agree the movies are bad you can at least agree the concept is ridiculous, right?
And to think that they're planning to make movies based on candy land and monopoly? ...
