In Europe, all I say most of November and all of December was Sony advertising. They were ads for all their exclusive games (and Fifa09 which is HUGE in Europe) and ads for what the PS3 can offer in terms of Hi-def gaming AND Blu-ray (Something like: Be nice to your High-def TV).
Ads were in movie theaters, all TV channels, large billboards and the metro (subway).
Microsoft advertised Lips, which is quite natural as Singstar fanbase is huge in Europe. Sony advertise...
Microsoft advertises Lips heavily here (Scandinavia). It's like all over TV. I guess those Xbox owners also need to have their hunger for karaokee satisfied :P I prefer Singstar though, but good with some competition...

After installing the 1.03 patch, I get nothing on the screen except for snow and the sound when starting the game :o(((( Have tried like 10 times and all I can do is restart my PS3 :o(((
My e-tailer wrote to me today LBP was shipped to me today and should arrive tomorrow. About the same time I got a new email from them saying the game was defect and they would need to recall it. So they cannot stop the shipment, but will send a return package for me to return the game, and they will send a "properly functioning" copy once they have one.
So, can I use the first one I get?
... my LBP copy will be shipped from cdon.com tomorrow (release date according to their website). Cdon.com is a e-tailer in Scandinavia (www.cdon.eu).
Retailers are only promoting a GTA4 PS3 bundle in Scandinavia with a small saving. It's being promoted through direct mail campaigns. Preorders are massive, they say.
LBP is supposed to launch as a beta first, giving people the possibility of playing with it, finding bugs etc and create the worlds and stuff you can upload and share. When the full version is out (fall '08) you already have a lot of user created stuff available for download.
The Agency is developed by SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) as some online game like World of Warcraft, but where you are a spy in a modern world. The Club is just a game published by Sega...
Sony has stated they expect to sell at least 50K PS3's in Denmark in November and December *LOL* I sure hope it! PS2 user base is app 500K.

There have been quite a few TV adverts for GT5 on major TV channels in Denmark, as far as I have noticed.
PS Move is btw marketed heavily on TV as well with Singstar Dance.
