I never troll the internet. Never. So take this as seriously as it's intended:
There's a page 2 somewhere with the joke on, right?
Oh, but I have the white version. RTFA, RumJunkie :P
Not from where I'm sitting. I'd go so far as to say my iPhone 4S' screen is the best screen I've ever seen anywhere. It is unbelievably good. Crisp, clear and the colours absolutely pop out of the screen.
A game a month. That's what they said. I'm still waiting for Arkedo Series 04! Especially as 03 was by far the best. I love Pixel Cat :)
At least he used 'couldn't' instead of 'could' care less in the title.
Vanity. Not 'vainness' - vanity. Sheesh.
I think the problem is that most game journalists like their free games and refuse to pay for them, so there's little coming through to make them dust off the machine. It's true that once StreetPass Quest and Puzzle Quest are done there's less incentive to walk around with your 3DS to get StreetPasses, but Super Street Fighter IV 3D's StreetPass content is pretty compelling if you've got some mates with the game.
If journos took the initiative to buy so...
What nonsense! DoA on 3DS is a very good game. Yes about the stages, yes about the parry system to overcome any move... but better than SSFIV3D? Come on, Chris, you've gone wrong mate :)
The headline is tongue in cheek - it's clearly not the best track ever. It's just awesome if you like Dizzy. But then people round here don't read the articles, do they?
...how many people feel they can comment on an article without reading it first. It's not even an article criticising Uncharted 2 - something anyone would know if they'd even read the headline, let alone the story itself. Let's all comment on the thumbnail image and have done with it.
...just button-mashing hack 'n' slash. If you're just mashing buttons, you're playing it wrong and going to fail real fast. You need to watch for attacks, dodge using R2, then attack using the most effective combos while time is slowed. That's the only way to succeed - the game will not tolerate button mashing.
By the way, the PS3 version is still ace, just the 360 version is slightly better.
...a reference to the original Modern Warfare, which is still played by thousands of people every day, a couple of years after its release. MW2 is bound to become just as big an online phenomenon as its predecessor and will stay that way for a long time. People still play Halo 2, after all.
By the way, am I missing the reason for the flame wars here? The website gave it a 10 on both PS3 and 360, didn't they? What's the problem?
I clicked through to say the exact same thing. Could NOT care less. If you 'could care less', you're saying you care for it to some degree and therefore could be persuaded to lower your opinion. Oh forget it, what's the point? The internet is an incredibly stupid place. I'm out.
...the game is adding so much post-processing to the graphics to make it the incredible-looking game it so clearly is. Think about it this way - when you play PSone games on your PSP via your PS3, there is a distinct lag, even played straight from the console. Every time you push a button, there's a tangible wait before the action happens on the PSP's screen. Now, this is due to the fact the PS3 is making a compressed video of the game being played and sending it to the PSP, rather than the P...
...or that extreme gamers were leaving the thing switched on all day long and breaking it through over-use. But after three years of careful, moderate use, my launch night 20GB model finally red ringed last night. That was after a week of increasingly regular coloured artifact freezes. Three years ain't bad, right?
I think people are disagreeing with you because you said it had a poor game library. It's pretty much universally recognised that Dreamcast had one of the best line-up of AAA titles of any console, amazing considering the scant time it had to produce them.
...never means it's a 'perfect game'. Just that it's an incredible achievement and experience - and everyone/anyone could buy the game and enjoy it immensely. Think of it as a 100%, wholehearted recommendation.
Also, picking out minutia in a game of this scale (that, judging by initial reaction and past efforts, is most likely a superb game) and getting all concerned about it is ridiculous. jtucker78 is right.
...'we could care less' means the opposite of the way it's used here? It implies you *could* care less because you actually care quite a lot. So it should be 'we couldn't care less'. Sorry, but that always annoys me. And I expect you couldN'T care less whether it's right or not lol Sorry - carry on.
V true about the reticule. And also, the second opinion bit at the bottom of the review is by the same guy! What's going on?!
