Off topic: I work at one of the largest electronic retailers in Europe and today I've received confirmation of the Mortal Komat HD Kompilation. It was originally posted on the gamestop website and was taken down. The game was supposed to be released on November 5th. You might be asking yourself: well, how come it hasn't been announced? That's because it will be coming out early 2011. Just thought some of you would like to know =)

Just got back from a retailer test night for Kinect. I left feeling really disappointed! For some reason Kinect had a lot of problems keeping track of my body and my arms in particular. While playing Joyride I was almost unable to steer and during the onrail part of Kinect Adventures (where you have to duck, move left and right to grab coins) the avatars arms were flailing all over the place.

Here's a tip for you: Sit in a corner with a weapon of choice and rack up kills.

Terrible, terrible game
Well it's good that they're listening to most of the things most people (including myself) complained about during the beta. I just might pick this one up after all!
The look on that guys face after he got destroyed by the fatality is priceless. Can't wait to see my friends faces just like that ^^ This game would be so much better online if it used the ps eye / vision cam during fatalities.

The woman probably wasn't told how much Kinect and Move were gonna cost though.. I'll bet you any money that if she was told that Kinect will cost $150, she would give the dude the finger and walk away.
The reason that people think Halo is being milked is that Halo was supposed to end after Halo 3. The marketing and everything was stating that you would finish the fight. Now all of a sudden after Halo 3 was released they're bringing back all kinds of crap just to keep the cashflow going with Halo. The Halo story was done with 3. That's why everyone says it's being milked.

Amaterasu will probably get a health nerf compared to the rest of the cast. That's the case most of the time. Take servebot for example, in mvc2 :)
Agreed!! So sick of these stupid discussions about pricing. Who cares, right? All of this motion control crap is overpriced. Move and kinect both. Get which ever one you want or neither. Please stop trying to predict how these things will sell. It's not important. Just enjoy the games and all will be well!

That hadouken comment makes me wonder..
Would be pretty cool if they found a way to make street fighter playable with move. Doing your normal attacks (punching, kicking) with the normal buttons, but hold the z button (or whatever it's called on move) and make a movement with the controller(s) to do specials. Seems pretty cool to me. Not sure it would be practical though...

I got plus and for me it's awesome. I'm playing minis I otherwise would never buy, but turn out to be quite a lot of fun. The themes are very nice and the free avatars are also a welcome edition.
At this rate I'll have more than $50 worth of content by next month or the month after. That still leaves 12 or 13 months to go :) I'm more satisfied than I would have thought.

As I've stated before in my comments on other articles, the move isn't priced half bad at all here in Europe. They're charging 60 euros (about 80 bucks) for the eye and move combo pack and 40 for the move by itself. I find this quite strange, because normally something that costs 50 dollars in the States will cost 50 euros over here. This leads me to believe that the price for move in the States will be dropped quite quickly.
