Gamestop will change this date 3-10 times before they finally get it right. They do this to sell pre-orders.
Best Source for GOW3 "god of war 3" is an article from PSW magazine stating a Dec. 2009 release... IGN also still supports that date.
After 20 hours of gameplay time I just finished up with FarCry 2 myself. Your review was spot on with how I felt about the game as well.

I listen to coast to coast and unfortunately this inst exactly a untypcal phone call, although most of the time the callers at least take the time to make up there own delusional stories.
