Maybe the question should be is 1080p worth $1,500 more than a 720p TV?
Exspecially when this resolution will [hopefully] be outdated in 5-10 years?
My dream TV from current market options would be either a 46' 1080p AQUOS or Bravia which retail over $3,000 waranty not included!
I currently have a Philips 42' 720p Plasma and was recently thinking of upgrading to one of the above mentioned [BUT!!!]With WAY WAY higher resolutions becomming availabe in the not to far off future Im gonna Save that money, keep my current hdtv and upgrade to the next generation of HdTv's when the become available.
With the looming next era of tv's in the future....
720p is gonna be cheaper and truly just as vivid as 1080p.
Still got my launch console!
And Ive been inside it bumpin around modding the case and adding some lEDS.. No Problems whatsoever.
