when i saw this article i was expecting a $20 price drop, no way is this game worth 55 bucks. valve must realise this otherwise they would not be knocking 5 bucks off and adding extra incentives to make people pre order. they are very arrogant to think that gamers can be won over with a $5 price drop and a baseball bat, they need to realise that it is the principle of releasing a game so close together that gamers do not like. Spelling fail on the very first line. Do these sites have educated editors? ( they used "to" when "too" should have been used). A lot of gaming sites seem to be unaware of this very simple part of the English language.
that's a very good deal, it's about time they stopped exploiting the consumer by making them buy overpriced accessories, however, this is probably a limited time deal in a select few places until the new elites come in ( the ones without the hdmi cable) so it's nothing to get too excited about.

hardly surprising, i mean, this article says that a game that is still in development has been improved. Not what i consider newsworthy.

gran turismo has always been a showcase for the playstation, it has defined racing for each playstation and never left me disappointed, although forza 2 is one of my most played games, i am more excited for gran turismo, they are going to raise the bar yet again and set the standard for racing games to come.
it is only similar to apple laptops, it really doesn't surprise me, it is about £1400 which isn't astronomical, it is probably a nice piece of kit.
