what sony means 15 million of "lifespans" on USA alone
consider last year they already sold 12 million "lifespans" on USA. plus another 3 million on this year. which add up nicely to 15 million.
well it seem Toshiba sold it back. consider they only use it on tv and sony have more broader product using this chip
having cell manufacture close to sony is very good strategy move since they are the biggest role on cell industry (ps3, and possibly psp2) will probably improve the design and quality of cell and makes ps3 cheaper.
this probably sony strategy to make PSP2 on price range.
to make comparison last year they get 13 million. i predict they will get 18-20 million of sales next year since huge number of exclusivity.
