Well Kevin butler Did sell ps3 very well. it just the ad is small compare to HUGE MS advertising department. but it did do very well if you consider they size of advertising
MS not just need buy major (e.i. remedy. but also very original IP in order to tackle some diversity of ps3 Exclusivity (e.i last guardian, uncharted)
they actually already send copy review. but because GT5 is to big, they need time to review it

actually Review is overall quality how good is the game. obviously they will highlight both bad and good.
what unique about GT5 is they packed with so many feature (Damage, NASCAR, etc) to the point that people start comparing with game that specialize on that feature (like comparing NASCAR mode with Official NASCAR game)
not mention how people expect game to be prefect which let us that every minor disappointment have huge effect on GT5.
