I think Valve got to the point where they just don't care to invest and release video games no more.. they make already so much money from Steam.. that maybe to them the ROI just doesn't make sense.. but let's hope I'm wrong.
I really enjoyed HFW.. but I will say.. during the first half.. all the dialogue options.. cool.. but because there are so many npcs and so many things to do.. the dialogue options got very strenuous over time. And some times, talks about things that could've been left unsaid. However I get what they were trying to showcase.. which is the brilliant animation and voiceover work this game accomplished. I would just dial the dialogue down a bit is all. Just an opinion.
Same man.. It seems a lot of people generally didn't like XIII but I really enjoyed it and beat the game multiple times. I just didn't like hope lol.. but that's just my own weird bias of having to play children in games

Im really starting to feel this way for games on console too.. just beat horizon forbidden west.. and though id still give it a solid 9/10.. there were definitely things that broke my immersion that clearly needed more time to fix.. though minor in the grand scheme.. noticing more and more that games are not fully polished on day one or even week/month one

That's tough.. I'm a huge fan of GOW and not even a souls player and I can tell Elden Ring will beat it.
I anticipate Ragnarok very similar to the first game so nothing ground breaking enough to yield a score like this. Not to say there's anything wrong with it being similar to the first game because Ioved that game.. but just can't foresee it having enough to garner this level of praise. Maybe in the next GOW when they change to a different mythology.

Yeah, it's unfortunate.. the game is great. Slow start but once I got deeper I couldn't put it down. However me being a graphic whore.. I definitely notice those visual glitches and shimmer which really bug me. So I just hopped on destiny 2 witch queen with friends for now until this is resolved.. really want to get back in though
Same.. I don't know how people played RE7 all the way through.. I struggled hard with the motion sickness.. really hoping one day that can be completely eliminated in VR because I love playing games in VR. Especially now with all the cool PC VR Mods enabling non-vr games to go VR.. Can't wait to see what the future holds

Unpopular opinion: yeah I do agree that this game is much more difficult than expected.. but I was very excited for this game. I'm a huge hack and slash and action brawler fan.. It definitely had all the makings of a great game but after getting to the 2nd boss in this game.. I was more irritated than having fun.. Maybe I am just bad at this game.. and that's coming from someone who beat Returnal with only 8 deaths. I'm also not a dark souls gamer cause that series is too frustrat...

I'm interested to know how many people bought an xbox because they can't get their hands on a PS5.. I have to imagine Sony is also considering the losses due to the inability to keep up with demand.
