New ip doesnt mean fresh, it doesnt mean original. Nintendos existing ip within each game are more original than even the newest ip tends to be.
They might have a perception problem, but there is also a problem of commenters who dont know what they are talking about half the time

But that is fact so far look at Metacritic. Not only does Nintendo have the top 3 metacritic scored games this year, but the Wii U overall has a higher metacritic in its games for its first year. That isnt a lie.

It took 3ds 2+ years to get to this great position like it takes EVERY system.

When sony is asked about 3ds vs vita, are they not talking about it? That makes no sense.
There are good games coming to Wii U, the same really cannot be said of the others until some actually come out
3ds went from a last place system to the best system. Nobody should count anything out.

Wii U is as much a next gen system as PS4 and XB1. And it has nothing to do with specs.
If specs were all that mattered none would be actually next gen.
I have had a PC as powerful as the ps4 for years.
The point is this article just decided to be inflammatory for no good reason other than hits.
Doesnt really matter the first game was pretty bad. The title is inflamatory and only there for hits.
Its not like ps4 and x1 are really "next gen" anyway/ I cant call mid level PC's next gen.
