That's my problem with Nintendo. They short their fan base on the power of their hardware under the guise of "innovation". But they are not being "innovative" in spite of current gen tech, they are trying to innovate to avoid investing in more powerful hardware. People act like the Switch is super innovative...its not. They just taking advantage of the leeway consumers give them to produce inferior powered hardware that can't run most AAA games either at all or...

Nintendo gets away with a lot in my mind because of the brand. I think it's ridiculous to charge a full $60 for ported Wii U games.

I remember when They said PS3 could run two 1080p screens at 60fps how did that turn out, they said PS4 was a monster super high end 60 fps PC and the thing was out of date on release, now who the heck is going to believe 8k ray tracing in a console which is going to be around 500 to 600$. Sorry but this is the truth and this coming form a former PlayStation fan.

PhoenixUp didn't say anything bad about prefering to play on switch. He only mocked people who think the switch has best version of because of portability and that is fine because it's their opinion. But the fact is Nintendo switch has the worst version of all platfroms and no one but fanboys deny that. Just because it's portable doesn't mean it's immune from criticism.

Nintendo is the most anti-consumer company out there. They never let their games drop in value. Nintendo games over a decade old still go for a lot of money. At least Sony and Microsoft let their games devalue so you can wait a year and pick the game up for $20. I'm tired of Nintendo Fanboys defending their actions, especially when they shut down the free fanmade projects. The fanboys also go on and say "Nintendo is the only one with fun, innovative games. Everything else is just rip...

And this is why my switch has been sitting on the shelf for around 3 months(only played the odyssey/zelda and monster hunter with it). I can play games as great or even better on pc for much cheaper.

I can't imagine having so much brand loyalty that I defend every single decision a company makes when someone criticizes them. I mean how can anyone defend having to pay online and lack of voice chat or text message, if Sony or Microsoft released a console without voice chat or any other basics they won't get free pass like Nintendo and everyone will criticizes them.
