Finally a game I was born to play.
This news was very informative, thankyou.
Jeanne d'Arc is a must for anyone who likes tactical rpg's, it's amazing.
I agree that point camera at a light thing was really not fun at all, and just annoying. You're supposed to tilt the vita sideways or something as well while pointing at the light, but it still took me ages to work it out.
You just hit the nail on the head.
"People always judge things like this for what it isn't rather then what it is."
So many reviews are just reviewers complaining about what isn't in the game rather than reviewing what is actually IN the game.
I have played around 4 hours, the framerate drops to probably under 10fps at times, when running from guards through a city, other than that I'd guess it sits around 20-25fps, which is fine. I've reached the bayou which is a lot less cluttered than the city and it seems a lot better there as far a framerates go. Graphics are great for a handheld, and the experience is a fully fledged AC game on a handheld.
It even has some mechanics the main series doesn't, such as 'pe...
It can hardly even be called multiplayer, it truly is like a facebook game. There's nodes all around the globe and you expend energy to send your agents to attack or defend them to earn your side points, and that's about it.
Hopefully the direction is out the door so we can move onto some new FF? :P
Me either, but it looks great, will be buying it asap.
"World of Warcraft has been the name in MMORPGs for as long as the genre has been in existence." Right, because WoW was the first mmo. *rolls eyes*
I remember me and my nephew playing this co-op and after we killed the final boss and the credits rolled, it was like 'What? That was it?' It was indeed a tame ending.
I was jaded on mmo's and sick of the mindless quests, but this just has something different about it. Probably the fact there's no classes, and that quests aren't just 'goto this hub of people with ! above their head, get all the quests, make sure you do them all so you level up before you're directed to the next clump of quest givers'. It's a great game, and there is some new innovations like investigation missions which encourage you to research online using the ...
People probably said the same thing about games needing electricity, instead of board games.
At the moment, unless a game is ridiculously cheaper online, I buy a physical version. That way I have some value if I ever decide to sell the game 2nd hand. Downloads do have the advantage of never having to worry about losing or damaging the disc, as well as being instant, and not taking up any space, so both have their advantages.
Slow combat? It's turn based strategy, it's meant to require more thought. If you like strategy RPG's with grid based movement, this game is fantastic. A lot of people just don't like these type of games.
Miyamoto: I'm tired of Zelda, but I want to make a game that will be successful in America, what games do they like, Reg?
Reggie: *shows Miyamoto CoD/Halo/Battlefield sales*
Miyamoto: FPS it is!
No. Next question.
This actually has Katakana too, I bought it. :)
I hope Kazuma from the Yakuza series would be in it.
This is the only thing I'm not ecstatic about, Xbone has a 20% price increase in Australia but the PS4 has a 37.5% increase, compared to US$. :/
