i look around this thread and the only one bringing up stupid fanboy shit from the past are you folks. Why bring up that BS in here at all, I swear sometimes I think you folks just wanna fight, and if you dont see a fight you try to pick one yourselves.
there are a couple of myths surrounding this game:
myth 1: short single player
if you dont rush through it the game is between 7 - 9 hours, and thats not counting the 4 hour coop campaign
myth 2: no re playability
while there is no spies vs mercs, the deniable ops coop missions are really fun with a friend.
scc might not be for everyone but its not a bad game
but I dont see anyone bathing in anything. Your the only one in this thread sounding like a fanboy.

i mean folks do realize there is a marketing office whose job it is to fill your minds with easy catch phrases that allow you simultaneously promote and defend their product.
the ps3 like the 360 is a static hardware console, and the software applied to that console gets refined over time so that you see year to year improvements. The capabilities of the hardware and talent of software engineers will dictate what you see.
but do you even play MAG. The game modes are pretty dead except for sabotage. Domination (256 gameplayer mode) can take forever to get into a game. Teamwork? Hardly anyone talks and most people till this day just go and do there own thing. Most people still dont FRAGO properly. Some maps are highly unbalanced. In the six months since its release the community has dropped to almost nothing.
There is supposedly huge dlc on the way and I hope that it brings people back. ...
I have things i like and dislike about both consoles and their games, in this enviorment I'll keep those opinions to myself.
Just out of curiosity; to all the diehard sony only console owners, is there anything about the ps3 you dont like?
likewise is there anything about the 360 you do like?

my advice is if you have the money become a multiconsole owner. it quickly becomes apparent that 90% of the articles on N4G are just flamebait.
There are great games on both systems, and both systems give the user unique and enjoyable experiences.
You may like one over the other, but there is no way you can convince anyone of anything here. This is an echo chamber no one wants to be convinced of anything, they just want their own opinions validated.
both consoles can and will coexist, MS is not going anywhere and neither is Sony (obviously).
