One end of the cable I've used is the same as was shipped with original Xbox 360 & fits into the existing socket on the Xbox - it's the other end that's different - it's HDMI (HD & 5.1 surround sound ready) that will only plug into a HD ready TV with the HDMI port. ...so Analogue TV is no good. The cable I was using was the the one that came with the console. The new one has an HDMI port & fits into the HDMI port on the back of HD ready TV's (LCD/Plasma). It's made a huge difference to mine. Previously I was barely able to read the inventory text& in-game info & alerts - now it's still small but crystal clear. Also pixelisation has dissappeared & colours much richer with more texture greater detail.

I just bought one of those VGA HD cables & it's improved the graphics 50 percent. It's like it's a different game ! Also ftorres is right - once you're past the slow & frustrating start it builds really well & there is alot to do & like. The world is MASSIVE & this will now keep me happy for at least a couple of months...about the time Mass Effect comes out I believe !

Blame everyone else but yourself, your never ever at fault are you.
Your first post was an absolute shocker (didn't think you had it in you to practice what you preach, your type never do) & two other members have reported you independently with fair points, although it is vaguely satisfying giving you a taste of your own very bitter medicine, since you mention it.
