I love my PS3, and I can't wait for GOWIII
But I'm seriously getting sick of hearing "this game will be the one to show what the PS3 can do".

Unfortunately with Microsoft and Sony hurting a lot right now, I doubt they're in any position to be buying up companies.

I've said this all along. Wii is for casual gamers, its a good entry for people to get into gaming.
But all the hardcore gamers that got a Wii, I knew they'd get bored and eventually need an Xbox 360 or PS3. Wii isn't a bad system, its fun, but its not for the hardcore gamer.
I still think to this day that Half-Life (original) is the best FPS ever made, Half-Life 2 is second. If you played Half-Life when it first came out, it blew your mind, guaranteed.
N-Gage? Really? They made a Metal Gear Solid game for N-Gage? lol I really can't wrap my head around this one.

I'm not sure what Gamespot did to their PS3 version of the Dead Space, but my game looks a lot better than those screenshots.... which makes me want to completely ignore the entire thing.

The current buzz with Gears of War 2 is the only reason they put it at the top, MGS4 is totally game of the year.

It's been like....4 years, and still the video game industry is flooded with ignorant fanboys.... no wonder I've lost my passion as a hardcore gamer, it's too f*cking lame to care anymore.
I'm sick of listening to people argue which is better, which is doomed, which will win. Who f*cking cares, go buy your system, go buy the games you like, and f*cking play them. Isn't that the entire point? Morons.
Every single time I buy a game for the PS3, one of two things happen.
Either the BestBuy / EB Games employee tells me what a great game that is, and that PS3 is excellent (PS3 fanboy) or they "tsk tsk" or tell me I should've gotten an XBox (Xbox fanboy).
So while I am a PS3 owner, I will admit there are more than just Xbox fanboys working there... there are just too many fanboys in general.
Seems to me like fans of the series really don't like this game very much. Having never played a Resident Evil game before, I found the demo pretty fun, its a very different kind of game. Controls are stiff as hell, but I think that's the point, maybe just takes some getting used to.
