Because depending on the company you buy them from generally they are a rip off, specially when buy the time all the content is out finally not only is it normally getting put into various sales for cheaper prices that or if you wait it out you can just get the whole season pass at a discounted rate in the sales, Ubisoft's assassins creed one (3) was poor.

For 30-40p a day what do you expect it's good for two things, sports pages and boobs, if your buying the paper expecting more out if it then really need to sort yourself out, this is the same paper that branded the 3DS the devils spawn, yet 12-18 months later it was the best console going.
That or it's now very very shiny, things will have just been made to look better as development progress' I'm sure extra levels and features will have been implemented but double, doubtful more like an extra mode and map it'll mostly be gloss and polish.

It might actually be news if it had half it's file size but oh wow an alpha has now gone to beta and file size has got bigger, uh yeah cos they won't have added anything to the game at all ;( muppets, really excited to see the follow up article, full game is bigger file size than the demo!! Sony did their own thing with ps4 as nintendo always do a trick that my not give nintendo all the success in the world but critical acclaim and some of the best games around sweetens the deal, Microsoft have one problem, no immaginition everything is ripped off of blatantly copied from elsewhere, kinect is basically an advanced eye toy from the ps2 era and xbox live that all new revolutionary online service that they invented, wouldn't happen to be basically exactly the same as Dreamarena...

Games with gold is a step in the right direction but how about proactive for a change instead of reactive, nintendo are Always pro active they don't wait for the competition they barely even consider them just do what they want and invent some great stuff along the way, sony are in the middle and xbox just copy's anything that seems successful elsewhere how about coming up with something themselves for a change.
As much as I agree if a good job was done diddy kong racing 2 would be amazing but then mario kart does a fantastic enough job, if anything we need a Banjo 3.
