Because Microsoft fans want them to. The major difference here is one company sells consistently 10/15 million copies of their games the other sold short of 9 million for their top exclusive (halo2) they give them away because they not selling anyway and they give them all day1 it’s just their next game isn’t until Nov now that’s some value 🥴
Value is not an issue on PlayStation it’s not more than gamepass. The £70 games actually have replay value im on 3rd run of 30/35 hour last of us part 2 so got my moneys worth not all games are being charged for upgrades and if you own the ps5 like 20 million+ do now they’ll just buy the ps5 version. I don’t think Microsoft have a leg to stand on when comes to Microstransactions sure GT7 not great but it’s get rich quick everything can be earned in game can you earn those £50+ plane...

Yeah the middle tier price is basically ps+ and now combined if you want the extra ps1/2 psp etc it’s a few quid extra month it’s not all that bad shame don’t get games day1 etc but sure they wont be that far behind, thinking 6-12 months max. Plenty of quality to play through. Can’t wait to see some lists of games to see what they planning.

Agreed gold all licenses done races online (laggy if downloading stuff, understandable) most missions all menus not seen any stutters that I can remember nothing major or immersion breaking that’s for sure
