The highest rated exclusive this gen if Uncharted didn't take its place. Ratchet and Clank has the same meta as Halo 5 then you have Infamous SS, Until Dawn, Street Fighter 5, MLB The Show, The Last of Us, etc.
Considering it has the most and the highest rated exclusives this gen… as well as playing all third party games in better quality I have a hard time finding a reason why.

obviously you haven't read most of the articles about this game considering you're only taking bits and pieces of the similar aspects of the game and leaving out everything else. This is a survival game which makes it already different from dying light considering you need to collect resources and tools to survive. What? anyone could say any game looks generic. Im sure even the best games at E3 looked generic to some people. However for most people this game looked great and most of the interviews and articles were positive.
Sony still have quite a few teams making games.. such as Japan Studio, Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Cambridge, London Studio, etc... Not to mention all the second party stuff as well.

It might not be 2017 but people are taking early in development out of context...considering resident evil 7 is releasing in early 2017 and they stated its only something like 50-60% done at the moment...I would consider that pretty early however its releasing in 7 or 8 months. Where as Sony Bend has been working on this game for 3 years now. If they want to release it in 2017 the still have a year and half to do so.
Considering they have already said they are aiming for 2017 I'm not worried. The title is misleading without giving the full picture. They would like it to release in 2017 however Sony is letting them take there time to create the best game they can so there is not really a deadline. Not a big deal either because Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier:Automata, God of War, Detroit, Spiderman, FF7 Remake should all be shooting for 2017 as well and if we get even half of those along with some more surpris...
First of all Uncharted is more like 15 hours and then you have multiplayer on top of that.. so not sure where that came from but you also have to look at the detail and amount of work that goes into a game and judge for yourself if its worth the price. Uncharted probably cost hundreds of millions to make where as Minecraft a game you can play infinite amount of times wouldn't be anywhere on the same planet when it comes to cost.
It's almost like using the perspective of one game means its a variation of that game… not sure what goes through peoples heads sometimes.
bike mechanics laughably bad…dude your trying to too hard.. he was on the bike for like 5 seconds and nothing about it was bad.
Totally agree it should have been in the conference…only would have took up a few minutes and made sony's conference that much more amazing. Anyways this game is going to be awesome by the looks of things.

They confirmed its a huge open world in multiple interviews.. big enough to travel with a motorbike and not feel small.
This sounds great especially if weather actually effects how your character survives. The bike also sounds pretty cool if you can run out of gas leaving you stranded... I can just imagine getting chased by a horde in the rain or a blizzard.... would be absolutley insane :)

It's not being made by the same studio and platinum is known for great gameplay. The story is what made Nier and they still have the original Writter/Producer. To me this looks way more promising then the first one.
