It's not lighter all over, Its a more advanced lighting technique.
because they have decided to opt out of drm for both the game and this I would assume this "incentive" to register will be a nice little way on keeping tabs on piracy as well as possibly being a way of finding out how legal your copy is.
I love the sims and will buy it but for all those who are planning on pirating I recommend avoiding this one. there is a reason its not on the disk
Explain how linux sucks and you get a cookie... otherwise get out.
Seriously, I use it exclusively and have never looked back. You want software on your linux comp (for example today I wanted to try a DreamWeaver type app but I don't pay for software) you google "[Program] Ubuntu (or your distro) alternative" you get plenty of hits and are a double click away from an install. Most open source software prefers Linux (for obvious reasons) so we get the updates faster.
Looks completely matter. People even choose their friends based on looks. Take a look at your friends (This is aimed at everyone). Now separate your childhood friends from those you made from about the age of 15 onwards. You will notice that your childhood friends have a large diversity of attractiveness but your teen to adulthood friends. It's a lot tighter.
People tend to gravitate towards people of a similar social and physical standing. It's not to do with being shallow. It's...
I use Ubuntu Linux exclusively. I often end up having to use a windows machine for college or to help my parents out when the scary computer machine opened a window they've never seen before but on my own PC I use Linux and could never go back. It's faster, more user friendly, has better support (peer to peer) than I've ever experienced with windows and it just works.
Whenever I have to go back to using a windows machine I miss all the little details like multiple desktops and a ...
The game scales it's difficulty meaning playing it will always feel the same. In Devil May Cry 3 the reason I loved the game was because it was so unforgiving that I had to get split second timing down. Now when I play it I do half jumps, quick dodges and feel truly pro at the game.
If the difficulty scales you will never feel yourself improve. It will always feel the same. This is a very "casual" move which is good for weaker gamers that just want to get through the ga...
Ever heard of GLSL. Until Ati have decent support for that, like Nvidia, they have no chance of killing the company. OpenGL is a very important part of games especially in Linux and Mac. No one recommends Ati for Linux users
The 360's one looks bluryer and has a shorter colour range. The PS3's shots range to the darkest colours on the 360 ones but there are more mid tones.
The effects look better on the 360 though but that could just be because they are two different shots of the fire
It's a pity that he had to change things up. If I were remaking a classic like this (as I did with my Metal Gear MSX remake that got canceled) I would make it one to one. It's easier on the designer and easier on the fans. gona keep an eye though.
In tekken dark resurrection you "purchase" ending cutscenes and concept art but you buy it with in game money you earn by winning so I guess it's not the same thing.
You could reference the Prince of Persia DLC for this though (paying extra for the ending) and Tomb Raider Underworld (cutting content from the original scope of the game only to sell it as DLC)
I don't think charging for maps is too bad. Look at MGO. They are constantly releasing free upgrades such as costume pieces etc and when they make new modes they add them in for free as well. They charge for extra maps and special characters though. I don't mind this because you get a few maps and a couple of special characters for a fiver.
It is of course always better (for the player) if dlc is free. I mean KillZone 2's map pack is free and Unreal tournament gets all the custom...
there was the odd mistake, for instance the writer didn't acknowledge the cannon Metal Gear MSX games but decided to include both Ac!d and Ghost Babel.
I always hoped I'd get to play DNF. They should release the design docket to a few cryengine or source engine or Unreal III modders and they game would actually be released within a year
