That is beacause 4 is all the 360 can handle, while the PS3 has the ability to have upto 256 players at 1 time. An the worse part is MS charges for it while it is free on the PS3.
So lets see upto 4 max for 50 bucks a year or upto 256 for free. Which ever will I pick?
More for free is > then less for a cost!
It is just to much effort for us to make the campaign longer. We know you will buy it anyways for a higher price regardless of weather or not we make it longer, update the graphics or engine. We are gonna basically sell you the same game as the last one and you will like it.
@5.1 maybe because he can play online for free? He is confident his PS3 will make it through the whole game and not so positive his other console would? He likes the controller better? could be many reasons and I am with him. I'll be getting this game for my PS3 as well and not my 360 for all the reasons I mentioned above.
I'll take this game or any game like it over a crappy rehashed COD game any day!! I guess that is why I have had this game preordered for about 2 months now and have no intentions or buying MW2 until much later down the road and it will be used ( screw Activision & devs who release the same game with a fresh coat of paint, It should be MW1.25 or something. )
the only reason it is launching in January is so that the 6 month window will pass and the PS3 version can be announced at E3 in June ( do the math ). So I will wait until after E3 before I buy it for my 360 just in case.
EU has the vidzone which the US doesn't have, it also has the play tv that the US doesn't have. You have free dynamic themes ( Wipeout & Motorstorm ) Us doesn't have any for free. You also get some demos and games before us as well. So it is the same in all regions as far as getting stuff and not getting stuff.
MS just doesn't understand security with any of their products. If it has the MS name on it then it has been, hacked, cracked and exploited to no end. You would think a supposed software giant would be able to come up with something for security that is actually secure.
You know the PS4 will be ready for the higher capacity BR's, I am still wondering what MS is gonna do seeing that they back a dud in HD-DVD and currently use the crappy limitating DVD media.
and didn't ND say that they would be able to update the game on the fly for such things without the need of shutting down the servers for maintenance? I could have sworn I read that in an earlier interview with them.
That is for people like me who are ordering DA:O on their PS3's but will be getting ME2 for their 360. Not my fault 1 game is exclusive and 1 is MP, so why should I not get the preorder item because I prefer the PS3 over the 360 but will be getting both games.
While I won't say ME series will never be on the PS3 this just doesn't prove it will or that it is no longer a exclusive to the 360.
but what about Yakuza 4? It is in development now.
I really enjoyed the Panzer Dragoon games and also loved a game called Lunacy. I still have my Saturn and games but maybe checking out some titles I may have missed would be cool.
I would say RE should just die off, it is just a mere shell of what it was, the core game play and atmosphere are gone and is just another action shooter. I would also say Sonic belongs on that list. And even though GTA IV was garbage I don't think GTA should be on the list nor should MGS.
seeing that the eye-toy & wand are used together there is no need to use a headset because the eye-toy has a built in mic. So there goes that point right out the window.
Anyways I could not careless about any of these stupid gimmicky motion controllers.
@19.1 you totally missed what he was saying. He said that MW2 is basically the same as MW1 when he said he already played it. He was not saying he played the actual MW2 or a pirated copy only that it will be the same game with a 2 added onto the name and a new paint job.
Even with all the delays I still won't buy MW2.
it's been out for a long while now and is also gonna be released on BR or may have already.
well they wouldn't do it for a Sony only title launching so they had to throw in a MP game seeing that GS is typically a MS retail store.
Wifi = $100.00
HDD = $150.00
HD-DVD = $125.00 ( which is now nothing but a paper weight and money wasted for those who bought one )
Natal should probably hit in the 200-250 range if you go by other 360 add-on prices.
and that is that I am not buying it at release and will pick it upped used next year at some point. I personally refuse to support Activision or any dev that is associated with them.
