LOL @ MS innovating!!!! Is that what you call wasting millions on DLC for multiplat games instead of building a stable of 1st party devs that might actually be able to innovate?
MS must a run short on millions to throw at this dev for multiplat, they wasted their money on DLC instead of complete games. I own a 360 so I am in noway a PS fanboy, just calling them as I see them.

The current controls are meant for a slow moving survival horror game like RE used to be. But seeing that this is a bright and sunny fast moving action shooter the controls just don't match with the style of game play in RE5.
The only thing Capcom gets is ruining 1 of their greatest series by turning it into something it is not supposed to be. All hail Gears of Evil the newest generic action shooter game on the market. A game to buy used for like 20 bucks in a month or so after it's release.
EDIT = I know RE4 was before GeoW and RE4 was my least favorite of all the RE games.
crappy gamers with no skill like glitches so they can compete with a good gamer. That is why I very rarely will play games online and wish it was left out of console gaming and to the PC. Between the losers that quit games when they are losing, the glitcher's and the cheat code users online play is crap and always will be unless you play with a closed group of people.
I really feel they should have started Super Bowl Sunday during the most watched tv event/show of the year and then all of Feruary, but what do I know.
01-30-09 is when the demo is available to everyone and not just gold members I believe.
I personally dislike button masher battle systems in RPG's. If I wanted to mindlessly mash buttons in battles I would play a fighting game. I am sure this will be like FF XII for me, where I love everything about the game except the battle systems.
PS3 averages 10 million units sold per year to MS's 9.3 million units a year, so I still don't understand why the PS3 needs to be saved? Even most publishers & devs say they make more money off of PS sales then the other consoles, so again why does it need to be saved?
it was on a demo disc sold that came with a purchase of a PS3. It is not on the PSN until February 2nd.
If your playing the PS3 version be sure to finish off the level you are working on before you update!!! If not you will get a message saying that the game data doesn't match the save file and you will have to start the level over. Happened to me on the 1.1 update and replaying levels on veteran just plain blows, especially Heart of the Reich! Not sure if the 360 version had the same issue?
the only reason Pain is so DL'ed is because they give free codes in with the bundles. I got it free with my MGS4 bundle and I don't like it at all.
It lost the feel that made RE what it was. this is nothing more then an action game now. RE5 is not survival horror and this should not be referred to as Resident Evil, RE4 was border line and this one crossed the line to action and not survival horror.

The only thing MS would be good for is financial backing but other then that, let them over pay for DLC, let them over pay to make a game go multiplat, and let them pay for the crappy HW they released to the market. <...
While it looks good and is fun to play, it in noway feels like a RE game and neither did RE4. These are nothing more then action games now with the emphasis on shooting and blowing things up. RIP Resident Evil. They should just give the series a new name imho.
what about the original TR????????? The 1st 3rd person game that let you explore the whole level instead of just platforming. Or what about the Coleco Telstar?? The 1st home gaming console sold at retail stores in the mid 70's? What a crappy list it should be titled "The most non defining moments in gaming"
fanboys of any system are the biggest idiots EVER!!!!! As a fanboy of gaming I would never do anything like that or condone or glorify it in anyway. Pointing out facts such as RROD on the 360 and Sony's lack of marketing & the crappy new sku's w/o B/C isn't being a fanboy ( which I have been called because of a RROD comment ) but a realist who calls things as he see's them. The only thing a hammer should be brought to is these idiot fanboy's heads imho.
If they ever plan to sell PS2 games on the PSN which they have said they plan on doing, then they will need an emulator for then non B/C models. So they are either lying about selling PS2 games on the PSN or about the emulator.
PS3 + Unreal engine = crappy game 99% of the time
change the game engine or let the 360 keep Geow, they need it more then Sony & the PS3 does.
