I hope it goes back to it's roots and is much bigger when it comes to exploring.
I hope they do it so you can build your house anywhere you want and then be allowed to create it in any shape or form you can....maybe expand it into a small village.
They need to bring proper magic back though...none of that magic gauntlet crap. They need to have more magic aswell, it seemed like they kept taking magic out of the game rather then expanding onto it
Thats what I don't understand about the decision
If they had no games to show off...then fine but they have a ton
It would get them more exposure...especially since the PS4 and the Nextbox will be the main focus of E3. I mean either way they do it, before the show or on their usual time slot if they did a conference, they still have a chance of being over shadowed a little bit by the other two next gen consoles kind of like how the focus when Nintendo rev...
I think with the PS3 to us at the time it seemed like they were bloody crazy with the price and their slow but long term plan.....but now it's worked out for them because were coming to the end of this gen and they are the only ones left that still seem to give a crap about core gaming, lets not forget all the good games that still to come despite the PS4 being announced. Nintendo dried up a few years after the Wii launched and Microsoft got greedy and decided to go down a casual focused ...
The way I see it is that COD 4 was, in MY opinion, was Counterstrike for noobs
We'll a next gen Sonic game eventually
I mean I don't think anyone is going to buy a Wii U this year just for Sonic when you have to save up for the Nextbox AND the PS4. Unless your rich that is
The only thing I don't get from this is that it's SEGA....weren't they in trouble not too long ago with financial stuff
I mean I thought they would need as many sales as it could get for there games....isn't that the reason they didn't fund Bayonetta 2.....now they want to do three Sonic games as exclusives.
These must be a timed exclusives
EDIT: @Below
Are they....well that explains it then
@-Mika-
Really....Out of all the people here, your one to judge
Still is generic
I liked it but because you were a policeman and you couldn't do a GTA or even Red Dead where you could go around and do what you wanted with it's MASSIVE map....it got pretty boring.
Plus I never liked that stuff like wooden fences weren't able to break despite smashing into them with your car.....it would of came in useful for those car chases.
I just hope AGENT being a fully developed rockstar game will offer a GTA like experience where there...
I can't believe I'm saying this but it looks better then GT6 in terms of visuals and graphics. Can't wait for this
Hmmm sounds like something Capcom has said in the past
Look where that got them
I don't see why Sony don't open a sister studio for NaughtyDog (NaughtyPaw, NiceKitty) and have another two teams withhin that studio.
Then you have one working on Jak, then Uncharted and the other two could be doing brand new IPs or continuing the Last of Us if it does happen.
Hmmm....I love when games get sequels and all that but I always found The Last of Us to be one of those one off gems, where the story will wrap up nicely in the end.
Well it has to be....they still owe Sony something after they paid for L.A Noires development.
Machinima have become insane latley....you know Ross Scott the guy who did the Civil Protection and Freemans Mind stuff on their...he had to leave because of their ridiculous contracts with them.
They are driving people away
I think with them looking for a new CEO after John Riccitiello and the fact we have a brand new gen coming up this would be the perfect time for the new guy, when he's made CEO, to fix this company.
If I was taking over from John Riccitiello and knew the amount of hate the company gets from gamers I would want to turn the company around to restore it's rep. That means stop restricting devs, allow freedom, stop cutting content and selling it as DLC etc
...
You mean reskinned perks and weapons
Look at AC3...loevely new egine, fantastic visuals that set it apart form AC2 but at it's core it was still AC and a massive let down
No one loves to hate the series, people hate the series because it's brought nothing to the industry, it's over hyped and other great games get overshadowed by it.
You know I have a funny feeling this is going to be the first game they show off despite the fact first party games should be the main focus at the start of the show.
Alan Wake 2 should be the first thing to be announced, then Ryse, then some new IPs etc
Yeah the Big Bang Thoery didn't help...even before that though you started to see the "Geek" stereotype grow into a new trend where it was now cool, kind of like a fashion statement in some places.
Within this new geek trend you have things which people think you need to make yourself part of the trend. This consists of...
Those thick black glasses
Geek T-Shirts...I know people like to think Sheldon from Big Bang Theory started...
There was always people complaining at the time, before COD, that it was "too hard" or "too difficult". I mean there was and still is a lot of pro players on Counter Strike, it had a LOT of experienced players because the game relied on skill.....while COD does not
Then COD comes out with it's easy perks, bugs, glitches to exploit, over powered guns, kill streaks ect
"Great....this is easy, we'll play this instead"
