Dragonknight, superior could also mean which system runs better, better frame rate, better online and not just resolution. Believe it or not, some people DO prefer fps over resolution. In the recent Digital foundry test of Battlefield Hardline, the XB1 has the advantage of running better even if the resolution is less than the PS4 version. I also seen Devil May Cry HD and Assassin's Creed Unity perform better on XB1 as well with the Digital Foundry tests.

Didn't driveclub, Uncharted 4 also were targeting 1080p and 60fps and couldn't do it? And those were large retail games and if they are still trying to target 1080p and 60fps for a small game like Kill Strain, then that is not looking good for this gen consoles.

You can tell 60fps is the tradeoff here. On the wind foliage scenes, the grass move at a more natural flow and you can feel the wind moving at 60fps on PC. The PS4 does look good though but the frame rate and 60fps and people with 4k monitors and a great PC rig can get the very best of What the game can offer. But glad CD project made good used od their extra time to ensure all 3 versions are as good as they can be. But it is still nowhere near withe initial revealing, which made me sad a bit...

The $499 console is bound to sell less than one that cost $100 less. Simple economics. BUT that doesn't explain how the cheapest console..ie Wii U sold like 1/5 of a console that cost $350. There is a threshold on pricing and 2 similar systems that plays similar games are really neck and neck as far as the $50 price difference go and I suspect the Halo MCC...
I don't know what else to say but 43k seems like the norm for the Wii U in the US. I remember the Wii on its first few years, you can't find one in store. I think Nintendo could be a real contender if they just make a proper game console as powerful as the PS4/XB1 with traditional controller scheme. That will guaranteed more third party support and with their unmatched first party offering, they can,be in a much better position even if the console is $350.

Did you missed the memo? Tomb Raider on PC won't be release in 2015 as the exclusive is only for xbox this a fall and the fate of the PC version is still unknown.
The denial is strong here. I too get most of games on PC like Batman Arkham Knight and MGSV but since Tomb Raider is only on Xbox this year, I'll get it on XB1 instead of waiting and hoping it will come.
LBP is not what I considered a Megaton AAA surprise. Shoot it is a port from last gen and was made by Sumo digital.
Ms probably have too many of their own exclusives to market in the 4th quarter like Halo 5, Forza 6, Tomb Raider, Gears Ultimate Edition as well as 3 of the best known franchises in Madden, COD, and probably Fallout 4 and some sacrifice of other marketing deal were needed. Why are you surprise? Xbox One has won before in November and december. They have a great Halo MCC bundle and a system that is $50 cheaper that plays the same game as the competition.
