MS said all their 1st party games will be made BC on XB1 so no doubt Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Alan Wake, Shadow Complex, Halo Wars, Kameo will all be there at launch or shortly after. :)
Also, I doubted this emulator will be on Windows PC because of the thousands of different hardware configuration unlike the unified XB1 system. I CAN'T see Halo Reach running on my Surface Pro 2 but I Would love to though.
Indie games and ps3 ports are like 10x-20x smaller than real big budget AAA games so 20 of those in a year won't make too much a dent on a 500mb internal HDD anyway.
Of course a one tb model is coming. Sony probably will release it at the end of the year for the holidays in the US and don't want to cannibalize sales of the millions of the current PS4 500GB that are still in stores and warehouses.
This is a totally different situation than MS because they are offering 2 SKU at $350 and $400 respectively and I think the 1th model will be replacing the current 500mb PS4 model that Sony is offering later on this year in America at $40...
Ms software UI is the best! What other console can give you BC, external HDD, snap, a preview program, Cortana, Skype, Windows 10 integration, etc?

Who cares. FF7 is 2-3 years away and Tomb Raider is coming out in a few months. As we saw from former "pS3 exclusive" FF Versus and Kingdom Heart, no one thought those games would end up on Xbox, but they are. So anything is possible especially "first on" was used.
Backward compatibility would been a better choice if this $40 GOW remaster is all we get. With proper BC, all the GOW games can be played on PS4.

Dang..the hate and negative spin is strong in here. I didn't know after another year of no GT7 announcement bring in that much salt. But I do agreed though, with BC coming at the end of the year on XB1, there could potentially be Forza 2, 3, 4, Forza Horizon 1, Dirt 3, Burnout Paradise, Project Gotham 4 all coming on XB1 at the same time and year. That is just too much milking of Forza and racers in a single year on a single platform. Spread them out MS. :)
Aussiegamer, I usually agreed with you but you are wrong in this matter. The Sony conference did indeed broke the shock meter. The timed FF7 remake or the Kickstart Shenmue that were announced and will be out in 2017-2018 were indeed shocking as many people, including myself, didn't expected it.
But I was disappointed Sony didn't have an answer to the 9.0 Earthquake that broke the richter scale reveal of BC from MS. I was expecting Sony would at least announce lettin...
Guess what , you also need a Kinect fir Skype so this in a way is no different. It is not even an essential part of gaming but is there as a great option for people with Kinect already. There is also a stand alone Kinect 2.0 unit for you to buy if you feel like Cortana is important to you.

Dude, it is releasing in the holiday season where shoppers have multiple days of shopping including black Friday, different genre, so it is a non issue like many games before it. Stop trying to make a spin on it.
Last year, Assassin's Creed Unity and Halo MCC were released in the same day and also GTAV HD, Far Cry 4, and Dragon Age Inquisition were also on the same day. All those games sold great and this will be no different.

The difference between MS conference and thw Son y one is MS announcing stuff that are coming out in the immediate to near future while Sony announcement if new stuff are far far into the future.
